Newton Ferrers - Structural survey of two-storey waterside 1960's house, valued at £1,500,000.00 Being both a Chartered Surveyor and experienced Civil/Structural Engineer I have the extended knowledge to properly determine the condition of any property and report accordingly, without the need to call in other engineers thus, ultimately, reducing time and costs for the purchasers.
Dartmouth - Structural survey of three-storey grade 2 listed townhouse on Market Square, Dartmouth, valued at £650,000.00 I have extensive experience of working with older properties and can advise on the best conservation techniques for repair; the relevance of different defects and the best ways to prolong the buildings lifespan.
Kingswear - Structural survey of two-storey house, valued at £1,300,000.00 My reports include an estimate of costs for repairs along with a VAR Rebuild Cost for the property to ensure adequate insurance.
Having many years experience in the insurance industry dealing with subsidence, landslip and other major perils, I can report on any possible defect mechanism and also project manage a claim on the clients behalf
I have extensive experience in acting as a Party Wall Surveyor on behalf of the Building Owner, Adjoining Owner, Both Owners and also as a Third Surveyor resolving disputes between two originally appointed Surveyors. My engineering background has enabled me to take a more qualified view on Party Wall issues, thus encouraging a more proactive and efficient resolution in all cases. I have also acted as an expert witness on Party Wall cases and attended court.
Having a postgraduate qualification in arbitration and law, I am well qualified and experienced in all forms of construction related legal work, to include contracts, preparation of licences, reviewing boundaries, expert witness works and arbitration and mediation. I have attended court on several occasions and always with a positive result.
